“WEST LOTHIAN’S SCOTTISH CUP HISTORY, FROM THE PAST TO THE PRESENT”

At long last, after many years in the making, the above book has just been completed. Not to be confused with the Scottish Junior Cup, this book goes back to the days when the likes of Celtic and Rangers visited the County of West Lothian long before Livingston’s existence. This book will certainly open the eyes of many in the County as the book delves into the past, Heart of Midlothian visiting Addiewell ?, Hibernian down the road at West Calder ??, The village of Mossend, no longer with us but producing Scottish Internationals. Armadale, Bathgate, Broxburn & Bo’ness all entering the Scottish Cup as Scottish League teams, the latter spending a season in the top division. The book includes many other towns and villages some like Mossend are no longer with us but all helped to produce the odd giant killing or in some cases some heavy defeats which all help to add a bit of spice to the book.
